Custom Jackets for Fashion, Everyday and Technical Outerwear
Jackets cover a wide range, from a leather biker jacket to a light windbreaker, and each calls for different materials and construction. Knowing which type you are making shapes the whole specification.
Leather Biker and Bomber Jackets
Leather jackets are cut from genuine leather, with hide selection, thickness and finish agreed on the sample. Hardware, lining and rib trims are specified together, and leather styles are confirmed on technical review before they are quoted.
Quilted and Puffer Jackets
Quilted and insulated jackets use synthetic fill, typically about 40 to 150 gsm, specified separately from the shell and lining, with quilting lines and baffles set on the pattern.
Woven Fashion Jackets
Chore, field and shacket styles use woven twill or canvas at roughly 200 to 300 gsm, with flat felled or bound seams and patch pockets confirmed on the sample.
Windbreakers and Softshell Jackets
Light shells use lightweight nylon or polyester at around 40 to 90 gsm with water repellent finishing, while softshells use bonded stretch fabric at roughly 200 to 300 gsm.
Fleece Jackets
Fleece jackets use grid or high pile fleece at about 150 to 220 gsm for warmth to weight, with zips, pockets and collars specified on the sample.
