Design and development
The written record that makes a garment repeatable. Without it, a reorder is a new development project.
A tech pack is the document that lets a different person, on a different line, in a different month, make the same garment. It records measurements and tolerances, fabric and trim, construction details, stitch types, labelling, artwork placement and packing.
If you have one, we work to it. If you do not, we build one during sampling and you keep it. Either way, the approved tech pack becomes the reference against which production is inspected, which is what makes a dispute resolvable rather than a matter of opinion.
Process
Each stage exists to resolve one question. Skipping a stage moves risk further down the line rather than removing it.
Points of measure and tolerances are agreed for every size in the range.
Fabric, thread, trims, labels and packaging are listed with specifications.
Seam types, stitch density, finishing and topstitching are recorded.
Print and embroidery positions are dimensioned from fixed reference points.
Each revision is numbered and dated so approvals reference a known version.

Stated plainly, because a capability described without its constraints will be misapplied to a product it does not suit.

Questions
No. A tech pack makes quoting faster and more accurate, but a clear description, reference garments, target quantity and target market are enough to start. Where you do not have a specification, we can develop one with you and confirm it in writing before sampling.
An approved pre production sample and the signed specification become the reference for repeat orders. Reorders are checked against that reference rather than reinterpreted, which is what keeps a second run consistent with the first. Where a fabric or trim has changed availability, we tell you before production instead of substituting quietly.
