Applying colour to fabric or garments to an approved standard, with batch consistency controlled by testing.
Dyeing is where colour promises are either kept or broken. A shade that looks correct on a screen can be impossible to hit on a given fibre, and the same recipe can read differently on cotton and on polyester within one garment.
Colour is therefore approved against a physical standard under agreed lighting, not against an image. Fastness testing then confirms the colour will survive washing, light and rubbing before bulk production is released.

Process
Each stage exists to resolve one question. Skipping a stage moves risk further down the line rather than removing it.
A physical colour standard or reference is received or agreed.
Laboratory dips are produced and submitted for approval.
You approve a dip under the agreed lighting condition.
Bulk is dyed against the approved dip with batch records retained.
Wash, light and rub fastness are checked before release.

Questions
Minimum order quantity depends on material availability, colour count, construction, decoration and packaging. Projects can begin from approximately 50 pieces per style following technical review. Where a fabric has to be knitted or dyed specifically for a project, the practical minimum is set by the mill rather than by us, and we tell you that before you commit.
Lead time is quoted per project rather than published as a single figure. It is driven by fabric availability, dyeing, decoration method, quantity, the number of sample rounds and the destination. We give you an indicative schedule with the quotation and confirm dates once the pre production sample is approved.
