Woven fabrics
Heavy plain weave cotton. Structural, hard wearing and the base for bags, aprons and durable workwear.
Canvas is a heavy, densely woven cotton with high tear and abrasion resistance. It holds a shape rather than draping, which makes it the right base for structured accessories and for garments that have to survive an industrial environment.
Weight and finish do most of the work. Waxed, coated and water repellent finishes are available where the end use requires them, and each one changes how the fabric can be printed and sewn.
Properties
These describe how the material generally behaves. They are not universal facts, because the specific yarn, structure and finishing change every one of them.
Applications
A certification option is not a certification held. Any claim on a finished garment requires a certified supply chain and current transaction certificates for your specific order.
