Fine plain weave shirting. Smooth, crisp and the default for formal and corporate shirts.
Poplin is a tightly woven plain weave with a smooth surface and a crisp hand. It presses cleanly, which is why it dominates formal shirting and corporate uniform shirts.
Yarn count drives the quality perception. Higher counts produce a finer, lighter and smoother fabric at higher cost; lower counts are more robust and better suited to heavy laundering.
Properties
These describe how the material generally behaves. They are not universal facts, because the specific yarn, structure and finishing change every one of them.
Applications
A certification option is not a certification held. Any claim on a finished garment requires a certified supply chain and current transaction certificates for your specific order.
